Yes, if it is slippery, you have either put too much on your hand, or not waited until it was dry before rubbing, or not rubbed hard enough. These are common mistakes when you use at first. Just wash with soap and water and apply again. Sahara Dry Pole Gel does not leave residue on the pole. The hands are dried by the powder in the wrinkles of the hand, not sticky because of the substance on the surface, therefore the gel will not come off on to the pole. The Body Resin Spray can leave residue if you apply too much or go on the pole too soon, but can be cleaned using normal methods (ie soap and water, or alcohol)
